The New Organising Conference exists to meet the organising needs of the 21st century. We are living through rapid changes, so we need new approaches to how we organise.
In our annual Conference and associated events we create a space where people can learn, be inspired and form closer connections within our networks.
We bring together people organising in the workplace and the community, because our struggles are interconnected.
Our approach is practical - people leave the conference with new skills and connections that they can immediately apply to their organising.

Our events present a unique opportunity for those on the left - we create a positive and engaging space where we can share best practices, inspire people to take action and form closer connections within our networks.
Whether we’re organising dispersed workers in the gig economy, utilising the skills of workers in the tech industry, or actively countering the rise of the far-right, we’re here to learn from each other and pave the way for a new generation of progressive change-makers.
NOC is a focal point for unions and communities to gather and bond, strategise and plan, and form practical solidarity that strengthens the movement.
We put emphasis on organising in non-traditional sectors (migrant workers, dispersed workers, zero-hours, low-paid, platform workers)
We promote joined-up organising between trade unions and community groups
We promote political/social organising in workplaces, such as anti-militarism and organising to support asylum seekers, against racism, and so on.
We have a strong critical attitude towards different organising techniques and strategies, and really put them through their paces, helping people to compare, assess and analyse hypotheses and organising experiments.
One of the most inspiring events I’ve been to for many years. The diversity was impressive…Sessions were all well run, thought-provoking and practical. If we want workers to win, we need to learn from each other, and the NOC is the ideal place to do that learning. I can’t recommend it too highly.
